Phishing scams use email and text messages that appear to be from a legitimate organization you do business with or a person you know. They attempt to gain your trust so you will click on a link to a fraudulent website, share private information, or open an attachment on your phone, tablet or computer.
We are all subject to such scams, especially because scammers are becoming much more sophisticated in making the “hook” appear to be real. Remember, If it seems “fishy,” it probably is. Don’t risk taking the bait.
