Small Group Get-Togethers at the Center

Twice a month, Fearrington Cares offers two opportunities for monthly small groups to meet in person at the Center. We hope to create friendly conversations and connections where neighbors may meet face-to-face in a safe setting.

Crossroads Conversations will address different topics each month. Busy Hands Together is an ongoing meeting of neighbors who enjoy hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, and other hand crafts.

The programs will be open only to fully vaccinated neighbors who will practice social distancing. Masks are optional. Pre-register is by calling us at 919-542-6877. Please follow our COVID safety protocols.

Crossroads Connections: Fearrington Village’s Own StoryCorpsR
Wednesday, September 21, 1:30 to 3 pm

If you listen to NPR, you know the pleasure of listening to the candid and moving conversations recorded by StoryCorpsR. Their mission is “to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world.” How might we build our own StoryCorpsR right here in Fearrington Village? Join us for an exciting conversation.

Busy Hands Together

First and third Tuesdays
9:30 to 11 am
Do you enjoy handiwork? Would you like to spend time crafting with others? If you knit, crochet, needlepoint, make cards, scrapbook, or practice any other craft, please join other crafters for a twice-monthly get together at the Center. It’s a time to work on your project, meet others, and enjoy fellowship.
