Handyperson Services Resume

Fearrington Cares Handyperson volunteers can now once again help with minor non-emergency home repairs and small maintenance issues in homes where individuals have completed a vaccination regime. To request help, please call the Center 919-542-6877. We will share our protocols to keep you and our volunteers safe.

Fearrington Cares has registered with AmazonSmile. That means that if you shop at Amazon, at no cost to you, you can choose to have AmazonSmile donate 0.5% of the cost of your eligible purchases to Fearrington Cares. In 2020, we received $579.58 from Amazon smile. Since we signed up with Amazon Smile, we have received $2,354.95 (through 2/2021). Just shop at smile.amazon.com and choose Fearrington Cares as your charity of choice. When first visiting AmazonSmile, customers are prompted to select a charitable organization from almost one million eligible organizations. Just pick Fearrington Cares then shop as usual.

Alcoholics Anonymous Meetings Resume
The AA Support Group has resumed in-person meetings at the Fearrington Cares Center. 10:00am Mondays. Please contact Karen Metzguer (karen@fearringtoncares.org) for information.

Foot Clinic Resumes

Appointments are now available for the foot clinic. Appointment required, call 919-542-6877. If you are living with diabetes, neuropathy, or lower leg issues and would like to participate, please call the Center (919-542-6877) to learn more.
