If a resident needs services at their home that may be more complex or more frequent than what can be provided at Fearrington Cares, Aegis can also help in these situations. Needs such as medication management (filling pill boxes for example), in-depth ongoing wound care, post-surgical or post-hospitalization visits, wound drain management, transition management, and chronic disease support are available to be scheduled through Aegis.

- NEW! Short Visit Home Care (Monday-Friday, 8am to 1pm): Aegis has developed a unique program for Fearrington residents that is designed to make it easier for residents to get the care they need in short intervals (as little as 15 minutes). Services such as help with bathing/showering, dressing, applying compression hose, medication reminders, laundry, changing sheets, household tasks, walking the dog, getting the mail, and helping with errands are examples of what Aegis can offer.
- Regular Homecare (longer hours): Aegis can also offer longer shifts for in-home care if needed for shifts of 4 hours or more (up to 24 hours per day if needed) for home care services that require a caregiver to be present for longer intervals, such as overnight care or respite care for a spouse or family member who is providing 24-hour support for a loved one.
