Have you been thinking about ways you can become more involved in Fearrington Village? After all, you’ve got a lot to share with others—your life experiences, the skills you’ve honed from your career, and now, if you’re retired, a little extra time.
Giving to others is fulfilling in itself. But did you know that by volunteering you’ll be helping yourself as well? Studies have shown that volunteers enjoy a higher quality of life, reduced isolation, stronger social networks, and a sense of personal growth. You’ll meet new people, develop new skills, and feel more connected with other villagers.
Whether you want to work directly with your neighbors or serve on committees to plan ways to improve our community, we’ll help you find just the right volunteer opportunity that fits your schedule.
Special Request: Do you enjoy talking with neighbors? Join our team of volunteers who answer the Fearrington Cares Center phone when our staff isn’t available.
Ready to volunteer? Complete our online volunteer interest form.
