I'm a part-time resident of Fearrington Village. I'm usually gone during the following months:

Fearrington Cares Neighbor-to-Neighbor Assistance

Driver: Provide transportation to residents to and from medical appointments and pick up neighbors’ prepaid grocery or pharmacy orders. Works on a team of three drivers who are assigned to cover 1 week at a time, 2 weeks per year. Good driving skills, current driver's license, and insurance required.

Back-up driver: Provide transportation to residents to and from medical appointments and pick up neighbors’ prepaid grocery or pharmacy orders when regularly scheduled drivers are over-extended. Your name will be included in the driver handbook, so you'll be called on an as-needed basis. Good driving skills, current driver's license, and insurance required.

Fearrington Cares Ambassador: Welcome new neighbors to the village and help them learn about Fearrington Cares programs and services.

Website support: Work closely with the site administrator and assumes some site management responsibilities. Advisors provide suggestions for improving the appearance and user experience of the site. News curators submit content, which is reviewed by editors for potential posting on the website.

Handyperson: Provide assistance with minor home repairs or maintenance such as changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and doing minor carpentry. Requires use of your own tools and basic home repair skills.

Special Events: Assist with arrangements for one-time or special programs (set up chairs, help with registration or refreshments, prepare mailings, deliver notices to homes, and other duties).

Committee Member: Committees and task force members assist the Board of Directors. Most committees meet monthly or quarterly throughout the year.

Any contact I have with a resident and any information shared by a resident will remain confidential. I will not disclose any resident information or discuss any such information with anyone except the Executive Director or an appropriate staff member or other persons as determined by the Executive Director.
