Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels provides a hot lunch for home-bound older adults age 60 or older who cannot cook for themselves and who cannot attend meals at one of the Chatham County Council on Aging senior centers. Our frozen meal program provides five lunches a week that may be heated in the microwave. Meals on Wheels is a program of the Chatham County Council on Aging. All meals are prepared in our kitchen in Siler City and delivered by a force of more than 80 volunteers drivers. Volunteers provide a brief visit and a hot meal for homebound older adults who are unable to attend congregate meals at one of our centers.
