Fearrington Cares provides limited transportation services to and from medical, dental, and physical therapy appointments. We’ll also deliver medical equipment you borrow from the Center. We regret that our volunteer drivers cannot carry wheelchairs in their cars.
Please call 3 days in advance to arrange for transportation. When the volunteer calls to confirm your ride, please ask if they want you to wear a mask or sit in the back seat.
Transportation must be arranged by speaking directly with a member of the Fearrington Cares staff on weekdays from 9 am to 1 pm or by leaving a message in the transportation mailbox. Volunteers will retrieve messages at 5 pm on weekdays and twice on weekends. Messages left after 5 pm will be considered next-day requests.
